How to get started
- Inspect the current upgrade level of the item.
- Choose an upgrade rune that supports that level range.
- Use the rune on the eligible item and read the result message.
- At the next range, switch to the appropriate rune instead of repeatedly using an incompatible one.
Rules & useful details
- The configured maximum is +15. Higher stages have lower success chances.
- Failed upgrades can lower the item upgrade level. Divine Orb protection does not protect upgrade-rune attempts.
- Additional skill-attribute slots are a separate part of this system and are limited to three.
